Pediatric developmental screening and therapy tracker
A care management platform for occupational, speech and behavioral therapists who track developmental milestones in children and keep parents involved.
The problem
Therapists spent evenings writing session notes and billing codes, and parents rarely saw progress in a form they could follow. Children's data also carries extra consent and privacy obligations.
How we approached it
We built milestone assessments that feed visual growth charts, a mobile parent portal for daily notes and secure messages, and a language model pipeline that turns structured session input into a draft note and suggested billing codes for the therapist to confirm. Consent is modeled as data, so what a parent, a second guardian or another provider can see follows the rules set for that child.
What we built
- Interactive milestone assessments with growth charts and parent friendly progress reports
- React Native parent portal with daily therapy notes and secure messaging
- Session note summarization and billing code suggestions from language model pipelines, always confirmed by the therapist
- Granular consent controls by guardian, relationship and purpose
- Insurance billing code generation and claim preparation
- Therapist caseload and schedule views
How the pieces fit together
Security and compliance controls
- Consent aware access rules
- Minimum necessary data to AI services
- Push notifications without clinical content
- Audit log of parent and staff access
- Retention rules by child age and state
Outcomes for the operator
- Therapists spend less after-hours time on notes because they confirm drafts instead of writing from scratch.
- Parents follow progress in a clear chart and a short daily note.
- The practice can show exactly who was allowed to see a child's record and why.

Representative engagement. Client details and internal figures are withheld under NDA. Compliance depends on how a system is operated as well as how it is built, and your own counsel decides what applies to you.
